Finally have had time to work on new laundry room "junk" room. Such fun.

Christmas present

A small house kit. Yay! I can learn how to build a "real" doll house. It's from a Greenleaf.

The blue vase is new, made by my husband on his lathe.

I didn't expect to find Minis at Home Depot!

These are for those little outdoor town scenes.

TWO battery lit trees for 8 dollars.

I clipped one of them off and clipped and stripped part of the wire. Poked it through a hole in the wall and then re-connected the ends to hide the battery pack behind the house.

I am not loving my 'black' room and I have an urge

to create a utility/cleaning/laundry room/pantry/junk room.

Decorating with fishes

I was at a sporting store and found these funky soft plastic fishes on sale. They were fishing lures before they moved into my bedroom.

A bath tub .. finally

Another self made item. The tub is a margarine tub

with a balsa wood surround that is clad with shiny white art paper.

The faucet is part of a key chain.

I just noticed that gap between the wall and ceiling,

 I need to patch that up.

Wall sconces and vases

My hubby made this little "marble" vase. He turned it on a lathe.

Here are two wall sconces and a matching vase made of a marblized yellow acrylic.

I just need to install them with some light bulbs in the wall. Nice huh?
