I like it! It's by "Design Int. Collection"
purchased from Grandma Holly on Ebay.

Retro chrome seating

The kitchen has a little seating area. Hubby brought me these little people that he got at a health fair at work.
I like these new chrome stools made by Old Town Miniatures (from Grandma Holly's House on Ebay). The table is a wooden disk on some bottle corks.

Kitchen of "Villa Foam Core"

I've been working on my kitchen.
I like this vintage linoleum floor. It's from Jenifer printables.
Thanks to "mini-dork" at modernminihouses.blogspot for blogging about this kitchen that I then purchased on ebay. I love the 50's modern look.

Some new decorating.

Roof for the office

I used that translucent foam core to make a skylight.
There will be a bed and bath room upstairs. I am waiting to see how the furniture I ordered looks before building it.

Kitchen

Here is the kitchen so far. Needs work obviously. I would like to try to construct a 50's style linoleum topped table and vinyl seated chairs to go in it. Is 50's era "modern"?

Office with new wall and a window

Here's what the office room looks like with 2 more walls and another window.
That art work is a side-bar graphic from 'Wired" magazine that I mounted on construction paper and 'framed' with chart tape.
I can't get over how real these rooms look in the photos. I wonder if I could photo-shop my family & pets into the scenes? hmmm

I wrapped some paper around the lamp base and shade and used water color to paint it. It looks a little funky but more modern.

This lamp doesn't look "modern" enough. I want to change it to go with the room.

The "Office" room

I added a felt rug, a mission style chair (ebay Bespaq) and drawer unit (ebay Concord).
Made the coffee table out of a round piece of wood on top of clear plastic lid from an aerosol can. The blue ceramic table is a Chinese scroll knob.
The little desk and food accessories are all from ebay vendor Samandpook.

New "House"

My kitchen arrived from Hong Kong (ebay)! I added a room for it on the window sill.
Also walls on the "office" with windows. Foam core is easy to work with, I like being able to design the room around the furniture. The walls are held in with straight pins. The whole thing can be taken apart and stored easily and re-designed as needed.
