Yes a ping pong ball on top of a piece of discarded wood turning. I have a string of battery powered LEDs with 20" leads: http://www.partybrites.com/c=RIF80Viages6Rla2b0yta2mGO/product/FL002/Flora-Lites-Battery-Operated-String-Lights---10-Lites-on-20-inch-Wires.html I'm not sure how it will all work but I have to use LED's or I might melt my foam core walls.
Interesting to see LEDs used as main lighting. I guess the biggest problem is the number of cords. There is a post on LED lights on my blog if you wanted to check out an alternative supplier - also I don't know what sort of batteries you are using here but theirs use 'coin' batteries - easier to 'hide' than battery packs. The link to the post is on my sidebar in the labels under 'lighting' :)
Ooo, so cool. I love both versions. Is that a ping pong ball? How did you make them?
